SMILEY360 MISSION: EMERGEN-C Review

So my second mission from Smiley360 (an awesome free sample website), was to try out Emergen-C. Now, I’m pretty familiar with the assortment of Vitamin C supplements, from plain old Vitamin C supplements to Airborne to Emergen-C, I feel like working in theater where sick days aren’t an option has made me something of a connoisseur of things that will keep me healthy. However, I’ve only had Emergen-C Raspberry previously. This pack came with that flavor as well as Super Orange, Cranberry-Pomegranate, Pink Lemonade and Blueberry-Acai.

Emergen-C

My initial taste test I ran with true and trusted Raspberry. I mixed it in with some white grape juice (because I’ve never been a fan of any of these supplements mixed with just water). Same familiar taste and who can go wrong with 1,000 mg of Vitamin C? Next I mixed in the Super Orange into a smoothie with greek yogurt, bananas and a little orange juice. It was awesome! No grittiness and it enhanced the orange juice flavor. My last mixture was for the 21+ crowd only – Cranberry-Pomegranate Emergen-C and vodka. Surprisingly good cocktail and I like to think I was killing cold virus’ on multiple fronts. Finally, the big test, I mixed the pink lemonade into plain water. Definitely not my favorite concoction of the group, but surprisingly not awful. It seemed a little grittier than the others, but I didn’t really mind. I think in the future, I would just mix it into a preexisting lemonade drink. One more free sample flavor to go, but I haven’t figured out what I want to mix that into yet.

Emergen-C is also much more cost effective than Airborne and both seem to have the same results (Emergen-C does it with much better flavor too).

So, once again, if you want to show my website a little love and click through here, it just counts it at Smiley360 that people are actually reading this blog.

SMILEY 360 MISSION: CAMPBELLS GO SOUP Review

Campbells Go Soup

My first real Smiley360 mission was to try a new Campbell’s Go soup, sent to me for free by Smiley360. These soups are pretty awesome. They’re super convenient for my crazy work schedule, easy to use and they taste pretty darn good.

They come in an easy to microwave pouch. You just tear the top to vent and pop it in the microwave for 2 minutes and it’s good to go. It’s also a lot of soup in each package  – there’s two full servings in that bag!

The taste was satisfying too. I’m not a super huge fan of curry, but even I could tolerate this one and I loved the chicken and mushrooms. I’m looking forward to trying a few more flavors! It was a very filling meal too. I was totally set until dinner time.

Overall, this soup get’s a thumbs up and I’ll be buying another soon. If you want to check it out, you can download a $1.00 off coupon right here.

Also, if you want to show me a little love, if you click through this link here, it just shows Smiley360 that someone actually reads this blog and I get brownie points with their website.

SMILEY 360 MISSION: I Just Joined Smiley360

Smiley 360

Smiley360 is a new sample website that I’m checking out. It gives you “smiles” for doing “missions.” So this is my first mission, to announce to the world the wonders of Smiley360. I’m also excited that I qualified for the Campbell’s Go soup mission so quickly – I’m expecting that in the mail any day now. You do a few surveys for them to get an idea about what you’d be best suited to sample and then you just check in at the website and it suggests missions for you. You fill out the quick survey and, if you qualify, it’ll let you know if you made it into the mission or not (some missions accept a certain number of people only, so the quicker you apply, the more likely you are to make it in).

So, if you’re interested in joining Smiley360, or checking out the website, here’s the link.
